Newsflash – The Home is Open again

Sunday to Friday 10 am to 4 pm (Closed Saturdays)

Following the relaxing of the Covid-19 restrictions the Home of Rest is delighted to open its doors again and to welcome all our local visitors and supporters. The Home is open from Sunday to Friday from 10 am to 4 pm throughout the summer (closed on Saturdays).

After a long winter and the enforced lockdown period caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the 58 horses & ponies and 15 donkeys at the Home are looking forward to seeing everyone and enjoying the all the extra attention.

Please follow the Home on Facebook where there will be regular updates and pictures of the horses & donkeys, and news on their progress and antic’s as they start to enjoy the better weather.

You can also view all of our Horses on our website and for £10 you can adopt any horse or donkey and receive a lovely sponsorship photo of them and news on them throughout the year. As a charitable organisation funded entirely on the goodwill and generosity of the public, the Home remains very thankful for your on-going support.
